Carrboro

I can’t say enough great things about Chapel Hill/Carrboro. I’ve been there twice and am absolutely, positively, head over heels in love with what I refer to as “Little Towns”
Tis’ another world!!!
After being there, I’m finding it very hard to be completely happy where I am.

- PTA thrifstore (my clothing/furniture store)
- Weave (the grocery store)
- Carr-burritos (mexican)
- Nice Price Books (Records)
- Townsend Bertram & Company (employer)
- OCSC, Fuse, Tylers, Speakeasy (bars)
- but also check out: Hell or Zogs in Chapel Hill for Billiards

...I ended up getting shanghai’d into seeing a show at the Cat’s Cradle, and it was pretty darned good.

I’m so homesick I could cry . . .

I went to the spotted dog. This place ROCKS! GREAT FOOD :) Sit at the long bar and order some really yummy food (healthy too!) and choose from a huge selection of beer. -And pretty good prices…the imported beers can be a little pricey. Over all good place to eat and chill..and I think they have wi-fi for your lap top too.

Who WOULDN’T want to visit Carrboro?

I was surprised to see Carrboro even listed on here. I lived here for two years, but I know most people who live there just tell people they live in Chapel Hill. The whole area is just gorgeous and Carrboro has THE best thrift shop I’ve ever been in. I miss North Carolina!!

Not my hometown, but I live here now and I love it. Carrboro is a really great town with a great music scene and a thriving community.
