Astoria

I was in Astoria in December during that hurricane. I’ll come back another time to check all the stuff out. Hope everyone is ok.

It’s a cute little place.

We stopped at the Goonies house and that’s about it, though.

I go down to Astoria on a yearly basis for the Crab and Seafood Festival. It is one of the best festivals. All of the local winneries are there for tastings and you get to eat some of the best seafood.

was after my father passed away. I grew up in Astoria and visited my father there regularly for most of my life. I kind of miss being able to visit him there, but Astoria will never be the same for me without my father. Our family lived in Astoria since 1842, and actually founded the area called Alderbrook.

I just passed thru while on a road trip returning from British Columbia about a week ago. The best damn coffee I’ve ever had: The Rusty Nail Cafe sells Columbia River Coffee Roaster “Oregon Breakfast Blend” We bought a bag ground for a french press pot; had it the next morning. WOW is it good.
