The white cliffs are indeed a nice sight.

Untitled by bluebottle55I’ve been across the English Channel by ferry many times, flown over it a few times, crossed below it a few times (both by Eurostar and in the car-carrying shuttle trains), paddled in it, skinny dipped by moonlight in it, tried to swim in it (not good at swimming in waves). I see it regularly, as its only 5 mins walk away. over 6 years agoUntitled by jgaines671Not only have I been to the English Channel, I’ve seen both sides of it. …while swimming. Wouldn’t recommend the water for the average joe looking for a nice swim, and the beaches in Dover’s Harbor are little more than rocks. The white cliffs are beautiful, and always a welcome sight for any swimmer. over 7 years agoaltahough i don't remember it too well... by pfeffy hopes she's back to 43T….i was in a very loud hovercraft going from normandy (at least i think it was normandy – i was only 11 at the time) to dover. the white cliffs are definitely worth seeing, for sure. over 7 years agoSee all 7 entries |
