Falmouth

I live here during term-time and it’s lovely! A little dull in the winter but there are lots of events and festivals during the Summer. It’s worth visiting for the Oyster festival and the film festival. On a sunny day, St Mawes island is beautiful to visit and is just 15 minutes on the ferry.

it was good for shopping and going on boat trips

but other than that it wasnt anything special

i wouldnt go again

there wasnt much to do

and the people are very rude and have no manners

various people were rude to me and when i

told my mother peoeple are rude she agreed people were rude to her

it all started out one November day early in the morning. By the time we’d been going for about 10 minutes everybody but the driver was sleeping and all he could hear was the purr of the engine and the soft snores of the passengers. By the time we got there, about 3/4/5 hours frome when we started it was 10 o’clock in the morning! We’d rented a cottage right on the sea front and even thought the sea was freezing cold and pretty rough all 5 of us proceeded to get into our wetsuits and jump right in there! We had a wonderful holiday despite the un-needed cold weather (but we did have one unbeliveabley sunny day). Everyone going must visit the Eden project, which is brilliant even for a wet day! If you’re thinking about going to falmouth in one of the Winter months, my advice is to buy a good wetsuit, and a lovely warm coat for alll the wonderful seaside walks you’ll be taking!
