I was born here. I moved to the states when I was 3, so I don’t remember much, but would really love to go back and visit.

I was there for 3 years, and a plane ticket just back to LA cost $1,500-$2,500 depending on advance purchase…

Sure, it’s worth doing, just not for long term. In my opinion.

Most beautiful beaches not as commercialized as most places
you can see mountains, jungle, and beach on the same small island! People are wonderful and the sand is white and the coral reef is beautiful! I loved it and want to go back! Also a lot of cool WWII history! Also amazing fish to see and geckos everywhere you look!!!

The Main strip in Guam is in Tuman. This is where most of the Hotels are and there are also many strip clubs lining the street. But my favorite part about Guam was its beautiful country side and jungle area of the small island. There are also many great golf course on the island.

Well first of all, I was born here so it’s my home. I left when I was ten and afterwards realized how much i took for granted. I used to get sick of the beach since it was everywhere and complained about the typhoons but now that I live in Houston, where the nearest ocean is like a half hour drive away and weather sucks. I miss it so much.

I spent three weeks in Guam on a project from work. The first weekend I spent snorkling on the Naval base and had a great time (and a terrible sunburn). The next weekend I spent hiking around the island. I made it to the top of Mount Lam Lam. It was a great trip.

I’ve been there 3 times in the last 4 years for a month at a time. It’s a small island but the view and the beaches are great and the people are friendly.

It made my life. I used to live here before moving to Tucson. You actually hate it when you live there, but when you move you miss it so much. It’s definitely unique, and definitely worth going to.

Wellllll I was born on Guam, and lived there non stop for 18 years. It’s changed my life in that… now I know the the meaning of “stir crazy” and the benefits of being able to DRIVE someplace new.

Still, there’s no place quite like it. Guam will always be thought of fondly in my heart.

A review of this place: Love It!  — 1 year ago

My ship pulled in recently for a port call, and I fell in love with Guam. The island is small, but it’s just so nice. Very sunny and hot, awesome people, tons of Bob Marley everywhere. We stayed for four days, and it was definitely a great time. I went para-sailing, jet-skiing, kayaking, went to two lover’s point. It was just great. I hope to one day get orders there.
