Petit Jean State Park

This is a beautiful place to visit when the leaves are turning. The rustic cabins are really quite nice, most (if not all) have a fireplace. The restaurant in Mather Lodge had good food that was reasonably priced. It’s a wonderful area to go hiking. Look for the Indian pictographs in Rock House Cave.

Take your own water, cuz I got really sick on the mineral water. However, I would like to go back and hopefully have a better experience, cuz the place itself is really cool.

Beautiful park.

Better than Yosimite (even if it is not as tall). This is a 90 foot waterfall that is a two mile hike to get to. Well worth the trip!

This park is a great place to visit. In fact I go quite often. It has really nice trails to walk and a really beautiful waterfall that you can walk right down to, or walk to the overlook spot. It is really cool. They also have an automobile museum with really neat old cars, gas pumps, etc.

The park itself is very pretty and it has decent facilities for picnics and volleyball.

I love this place. They have lots of hiking trails and CCC built cabins, a lodge, and tee-pee’s you can rent.
