Heian Shrine by Shenoa

They had several weddings going on when we were there and it was fantastic to see the mix of traditional vs modern culture. We also saw several women dressed in geisha attire.

One of my favourites in Kyoto... by ume

I’ve been to Heian Shrine several times now but keep coming back. The gardens (featured very briefly in ‘Lost in Translation’) are spectacular during spring with their weeping cherry trees.
