McDowell Sonoran Preserve

above Scottsdale. I felt like I was in the song by America – A Horse with no Name…”it felt good to be out of the rain, in the desert..” It was raining and cold when we had left Seattle the day before, so the dry heat and sun felt good indeed! We brought along plenty of water and wore hiking shoes for the gravelly path so we were set to enjoy all that the preserve had to offer on this beautiful morning.
