A review of this place
My favourite temple in Siem Reap.
There are so many faces, so many expressions and so many angles to take photos from. Best time I think is around sunset when certain faces have just the right amount of light on them.

A tip I have about this place
watch out for the old man at the top who encourages you to look down a hole with his flashlight and then charges you for looking into the said magnificant hole!

Beautiful Bayon
There are so many mystical things to tell about the bayon, that i dont even know where to begin. From a distance it just looks like a pile of grey bricks, but as soon as you come closer you can see the countless faces smiling in every direction! Supposedly the centre of the ancient kingdom, and all the smiles should be keeping an eye out for enemies and scare them away.
Whatever the specific purpose was of this temple, once you’ve been there, you’ll know without a doubt where the cambodians get there smile from ;)
