It’s beautiful! It’s amazing to see that many different ecosystems all so close to eachother… There are the mountains, the temperate rain forests, the regular forests, the beaches… I deffinately need to go back.

… But watch out for Banana slugs.

Take a day and drive around without any obligations or plans. It’s an amazing forest.

Verdant by madamwitty

is the best word I can think of to describe this place. I went during the summertime and the experience was just wonderful! I would not recommend visiting in the winter; it’s probably very rainy and dreary like Seattle (but even more so, since it’s actually a rainforest!)
