Québec City aka: Québec, Quebec

400 years ago this city was settled. Am trying to convince my daughter to go in the coming week. Don’t know if I’ll be successful, though.

It’s true! It’s like going to another country (that’s not Canada) and feeling like you’re in a very different place! Beautiful to look at, lots of history…

I made the hotel reservations yesterday, my husband and I will be spending Memorial Day weekend in Quebec City! I’m so excited!

When i went here, it was on an eighth grade field trip…and it was basically AMAZING…

we never got a chance to see the old part of the city, but we were there for 5 days, and made the most out of it. we went tubing and dog sledding, as well as countless tours of the city. we went in the winter time, just in time to see the carnaval.

actually, there was one thing that i liked the most, that blew me away. i don’t know if this is common in Canada, or in other countries for that matter [that was the only time i’ve been out of the states] but i loved the way they looked at graffiti. they had special walls that people could cover with graffiti. and they look like magnificent paintings…it really touched me.

i would definitely go back to quebec.
