British Museum

Its a nice place,But people who doesn’t like History wont like it that much.Its a very big musium so u can get easily lost there.U can learn a lot about history from that place.They have those really cool statiues and monuments {which i have read about in books}from all over the world.But unfortunateluy we couldent finish seeing the whold musium coz its so so so big.While u r there dont forget to check-out the gifts shop,they got some really cool stuff there.I couldent resist buying those mummy chocolets and mom bought those rafe Greeck statues.Even if History is not one of my fav subjects,I have to admit the British museum is a really cool place

Unfortunately I didn’t have much time to see the whole museum.
The first part I saw, though, it was amazing.
All this pieces from the past…
And, btw, you can also take pics!!!! That’s great!!!
I’d really love to go back to see the rest of the museum…

I’d say it’s right up there with the Met.

One of the best museums in the world. The Elgin Marbles and Sutton Hoo hoard are worth the visit.

I’d suggest brushing up on your ancient history before visiting. Everything is well explained, but some prior knowledge will make your visit that much more enjoyable.

Also, if you’re into mummies this is the place.

That’s what some schoolboy said as he walked by some ancient Persian-Assyrian-Babylonian sculpture thingy (I forget whose work it was now). He was walking by one of the coolest things ever, and declared as only a 10-year old boy can, “Boring! Boring! Boring!” as he pointed at the sculpture with each repetition.

My wife and I will sometimes declare something to be boring in this boy’s style, when, quite clearly, it isn’t.
