Krabi by herling

Not the most beautiful beach in a neighbourhood (talking about Ao Nang beach), but very nice and cheap place to stay. Loved the jungle tour we took, especially the hot springs and emerald pool that were included. Went to snorkeling as well, but there were too many people splashing around, water wasn’t chrystal clear.

Rent a bike and experience Krabi by karthiben

I would recommend to rent a motorbike and just go around town of Krabi and Au Nang. It’s cheap! It’s the best way to experience Krabi too. Just get to as many beaches/islands as possible. My girlfriend is an outdoor person, we went snorkeling and did all the fun stuff. Like elephant rides, kayaking, and all those outdoor activities. Muay Thai was so-so though.

Flew down from Bangkok and stayed here on the way to Phi Phi, Was nice not to jump from place to place but wish I’d have gone to Railay. There’s always next time. Went to Phi Phi from Phuket last time, so I thought it might be nice to go to Krabi for a bit.

i went only for a weekend. and a weekend certainly is not enough! there are many activities such as rock climbing, scuba diving and snorkelling; all i would have liked to do but did not have the time. if you’re not into your sports, you can just laze around and soak up the beauty of your surroundings. i stayed at railey beach, which came highly recommended. from railey beach, it is easily accessible to the other islands like phi phi islands; activities are aplenty; stunning views and a great selection of bars to chill out at. krabi is a definite for beach lovers.
