I walked the entire length of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Great long walk and best views ever. If you get a chance take the time to go up the pylons. just great

%{color:blue}I scaled the summit of Sydney Harbour Bridge (aka the Coathanger) in the company of a friend and 10 other climbers on 4th January 07 … We climbed the Bridge at dawn, giving us the opportunity to have a spectacular, 360-degree view of the Harbour city surrounds, 134 metres above the sea level as the sun was rising … It gave me a high stronger than the buzz I would have had from two cups of expresso coffee …%{color:blue}

Bridge Climb is expensive but fun… try to go on a warm day because it can be cold and windy up there. It’s more like “Bridge Walk” because there isn’t much climbing involved, but since it takes several hours you probably want to be in pretty good physical condition. Spectacular view. A good ending to a fabulous month in Australia and a wonderful few days in Sydney.

Bridge Trouble by clintojo

I went to a party to celebrate an anniversary of the bridge and thousands and thousands of people showed up. Everywhere people were getting crushed. We saw it on the news later that day and realized were lucky to get out of there uninjured. Many people ended up seriously injured. When you’re young you just say, ‘That was wild!’
