Write an entry Entries about this placeUntitled by ian16thOur 1st visit was in November 1992 and my wife I fell in love with the place. I am an Englishman, resident in South Africa and I lived & worked in mainland France for a year in ‘56/’57. I knew of Reunion and saw a ‘special offer’ for a week on the Island in Oct ’92 and jumped at it. It changed my life! I’ve been back 4 more times, between trips to UK, Maritous, Spain and New Zealand. I would have been again for a mid-winter break in June/July but I was put of by the continuing Chikungunya outbreak. A note to the French Gov. PLease fix this! Anything I don’t like about the Island? Yes, please stop importing CARS!
