First Communion  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

My first memory of this beautiful cathedral was my first communion. I remember going into the confessional and then coming out with a smile on my face as my teacher looked at me.

He's Not Dead Yet  — 1 year ago

Worth visiting!

The nun who graciously gave us a tour when my brother visited some years ago showed us the portraits painted on the wall of all the past archbishops, as well as the spot prepared for a portrait of the current archbishop. She then gave that spot an annoyed look and complained that “he’s not dead yet!”

It’s nice because of the prestige, but it’s really not as pretty as I thought it would be. The Ursaline Convent chapel is nicer.
