Write an entry Entries about this placeChihuly: Through the Looking Glass by MFMVisited MFA yesterday to see the member’s preview of the Dale Chihuly exhibit which is marvelous. The colors are stunning. My favorites are the chandeliers – especially the red one as you walk in. There is a Persian ceiling that is captivating – a glass ceiling filled with glass of different shapes and colors – people gasp audibly as they enter and then wander around entranced. We went back through more than once. over 2 years agoUntitled by seisamI try and go to as many art museums as possible when i travel. i went to the MFA 2 out of the 4 days i was in boston… the first day i was there, i saw an Egyptian sculpture that i had only seen in books and i was in awe- i think the security guard thought i was crazy because i stood and stared at every angle and smiled… their Asian art collection is also amazing and well worth the visit if you’re into that! over 5 years agoSee all 18 entries |
