Write an entry Entries about this placeChihuly: Through the Looking Glass by MFMVisited MFA yesterday to see the member’s preview of the Dale Chihuly exhibit which is marvelous. The colors are stunning. My favorites are the chandeliers – especially the red one as you walk in. There is a Persian ceiling that is captivating – a glass ceiling filled with glass of different shapes and colors – people gasp audibly as they enter and then wander around entranced. We went back through more than once. 10 months agoUntitled by seisamI try and go to as many art museums as possible when i travel. i went to the MFA 2 out of the 4 days i was in boston… the first day i was there, i saw an Egyptian sculpture that i had only seen in books and i was in awe- i think the security guard thought i was crazy because i stood and stared at every angle and smiled… their Asian art collection is also amazing and well worth the visit if you’re into that! over 4 years agoSee all 18 entries |
