My sister and her fiance drove me out to Point Reyes for a day at the beach with cliff walking, bird and sea lion watching. I didn’t climb the steps down to the lighthouse, but admired it from above and enjoyed the amazing ocean views, geology and flora. Worth checking out!

Haven't been back to Point Reyes in 25 years... by NedRaggett

…but my dad and I and some friends of his hiked here a couple of times when I lived in the Bay Area. Really loved the experience, though the impressions are a bit more on the vague side now, regrettably, though I’m sure I have a couple of very old photographs around. Would love to return and see it through newer eyes.
