This is a wonderful place to kayak. I went on a tour of Freshwater Bay on the Strait of Juan de Fuca with AJ of Olympic Raft & Kayak. This tour received an excellent write-up in the Seattle P.I. It’s a small town with an urban center that almost thrives, seemingly after years of decay. The Olympic National Park is at its doorstep, and yet the town itself has little beauty. over 6 years agoPlace of Birth by MarceNot only have I been here, but I visit every few years because it was my place of birth (actually the Dungeoness Lighthouse in Sequim).
