Another of the great destinations for outdoors—hiking, biking, four-wheeling, camping, river rafting / tubing. You can see petroglyphs all over, indian ruins, dinosaur tracks.

It’s an incredibly gorgeous place. Have been many times since first trip in 1998. Every time it is awesome to go. Mostly I go for four wheeling and hiking but that’s enough to experience many of the things Moab has to offer.

Trails for 4×4 range from easy to extreme, pick your poison. Happy to help with any tips. The town itself is a nice tourist town, fun to hang, some good grub and brews to be had, a welcome treat after a long day on the trail.

Camping spots range from superb to superb. :) If you’re into multi day camping & wheeling, try Canyonlands White Rim trail once… it’s not super hard, but amazing cliff views, and a nice remote place. Reserve ahead of time.

I simply fell in love with it. This is the coolest place in America as far as I am concerned.

Tremendous beauty with a deadly secret  — 11 months ago

Moab is probably one of the most beautiful paces on earth. However, just opposite town is an old government mine used for durring the cold war for mining uranium, I believe.

There is a large 200,000 ton pile of radioactive pilings and heavy metals are leeching into the water. That all goes downstream to Vegas’ water supply!

Loved this resort! Stayed here for three nights. Will edit and add more later but the cabins are right on the river, good food, great activities.

Moab is in the heart of redrock country, a fabulous destination for mountain biking, jeeping, river rafting, hiking, or just taking in the sights.
