Western Washington University

When I first went to Western, I was trying to decide what university to go to. I was in my senior year of high school, and was busier that hell. When I went to Bellingham, it was a sunny warm April day, and everyone was outside playing! It was so cool. I decided to go to Western, and didn’t regret it. Beautiful campus and a great town. Don’t let people tell you that there’s nothing to do in Bellingham. Those people never left campus.

I spent my four years of college here, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I love the campus and here is where I met my husband and my best friends.

I spent a year in the Industrial Design program and learned much about how to design. I miss the view of Bellingham Bay that was so open to view from campus.

Make sure to take in the surroundings. Go hiking, go kayaking, visit the parks, at least walk around downtown… don’t just stick to campus. The campus is beautiful, but there’s so much more than that.

Of course, I’m only 19 – so I can go back if I wanted. Anyway, GREAT school. I lived in Nash. Loved it.
