Excellent, excellent beer. I thoroughly enjoyed that about the place. But the help…no so helpful and not at all friendly. One of the worst things done in running a business is hiring folks who are unable to treat patrons well. Thumbs down to VP & B!

First bar I ever had a beer in (long before I was legal)

The brewer enthutiastically gave me a scaled down recipie for their maple beer – which is in my top 10 beer list. An all around excellent bar.

When it is nice out there is a great patio and I love the honey-chili vinaigrette salad dressing. A guy I travel with for work insists on a pre-dinner pint here and I sometimes get girly and order a half-pint but they never deride me.
