have been moving about every three years, while I was living in New Hampshire and heading home to Montreal I would have to pass through the beautiful Mountains of Vermont. I fell in love with the billboard-less views and the expansive green mountains. I knew that one day I woudl live in Burlington, that little city amongst the mountains beside breathtaking Lake Champlain. And here I am, living here for over 3 years now. Great decision. (But I must admit it is a lot more expensive to live here than I ever imagined it would be.)

Not Really A Kid Friendly Place by wjklos

I mean they don’t grab children and cook them over an open fire or anything, but the restaurants are definitely more focus to the adults and college kids of the area.

Lots of cool places I’d like to try with someone someday.

Just believe that you can find on street parking and you will by MFM

Burlington has a central pedestrian zone called Church Street (http://www.churchstmarketplace.com)and that is where people head for shopping, catching the local color and dining. It is a short walk down to the Lake and interesting in all seasons.
