Oregon Coast

I am driving the whole coast again this summer!!! Looking for a historic hotel preferably south of Depoe Bay as our final destination is Rockaway Beach.

I am VERY excited.

this isn’t california. Bring a jacket and earmuffs or a hat. I suggest capri pants.

I went with my family and stayed at our time-share at the inn at otter crest. nice place-rustic with all the ammenities.

For as long as I can remember I wanted a place on the Oregon coast. I was born in California and the coast there is so beautiful, but Oregon is just different. It’s quieter, it’s wilder, and from Seattle, much easier to visit by car.

Came across the perfect locale about 1.5 hours from Portland so we bought it. We’re now spending four weeks a year here, something I didn’t think was possible until we retired.

It’s different every time we go. Rainy, sunny, hailing, snow, sunny, raining…and that can be in one day.

Winter storms are incredible.

I can’t wait to spend more time down the road here.

I visited the Oregon coast last summer with my husband. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place. I felt so at home there and loved every second. The scenery was spectacular!!
