loved the pumpkin festival at the university!

I took a look at Keene State while I was looking for colleges. Keene’s a really cool town.

I went to KSC for a semester, it’s a nice little city!

I want to visit the Free Talk Live studio because I am a fan of the show and I want to meet the host.

this place does hold the world record for the most amount of pumkins gathered in one place. I have enjoyed the festival at least 3 or 4 times. It was always fun. The crowds are getting a little heavy and the way they set up the scaffolding for the pumpkin displays in 2006 didin’t allow for very good people traffic flow. I think this might be my last year goin. It is is on my goal list and I hope to make it a bang of a year but that might be the last for me.

I was surprised by how conservative a town it is for being such a big college town. I’ve heard about the Pumpkin Festival. Info and a link are below. You’ll love the town.

great small town

A college town with a popular holiday bash for Holloween. Shutting down the main street and a show of pumpkins carved by entrants to the contest. Trying to beat the count from previous years. Low crime, family safe and some very wonderful places to dine, shop and just hang out. Although not a hot spot for “city life” it does give you the sense of belonging.
I’ve lived around the area all my life and nothing about Keene ceases to amaze me.

I’m a sucker for quaint college towns with good coffee houses!

I go to college at Keene State College. Its a really nice school and a really nice town.
