Crossville

I say it’s worth visiting simply because this is where my dad’s side of the family all hails from…otherwise I don’t know that I’d say that. However, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is truly beautiful, and that’s not too far away.

For those who don’t know who he is, he’s a World War I hero, and there’s a movie about him that I think Gary Cooper stars in. (Yes, it’s old and black & white, but I think the story-even if it’s dramatized some-is amazing!) Oh, also…this is his hometown area.
