Worth visiting!
I am willing to bet every native Rhode Islander who had a childhood in southern RI remembers riding on this carousel and reaching for the brass ring on that magical final pass.
Lots of cute shops, docks with boats, the beach, the carousel, ice cream, the Olympia tea room, a glimpse of the next level of the income bracket.
A great way to spend a few hours…relax.
In the winter it is deserted.
