Very nice landscape in french alps.
Some nice old towns and places to discover around the lake.
But especially the mountains around are great to discover. Lovely walking and trekking trips up to 1700m altitude. If you like more, you can even climb up to the peaks at around 2500m.
At winter time, the Semnoz mountain is a must for snow-trekkers, skiers and snow-kiters.
Furthermore there are many interesting locations around the lake, that are easy and quick to reach, like “Lac Aleman”/Geneva, Chamonix, Mont Blanc, Albertville with old town of Conflance, Chateau de Montrottier and much much more…

Perfect place in the summer : georgeous lake, charming town (Annecy, Talloires,...), mountains around.

Perfect place in the winter : mountains and skiing is 30 minutes away.
