Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous

…that my wife recommends people going to Memphis to go there for supper and maybe get a bottle of the sauce for her.

We spent 5 days in Memphis last summer and ate at Rendezvous twice- we went back the last day because we loved it so much! The thing my guidebood didn’t tell me was that it’s down an alley- if you find the address you see it’s a German restaurant- Rendezvous is around the corner, in the alley! I would never have found it if not for the nice folks at the Holiday Inn! Worth looking for- the best barbecue I have ever had in my life. Hands down, and one of the best meals I have had overall!

My brother and I spent 3 days in Memphis. We ate here FIVE times- 2 for lunch and 3 for dinner. Tim at the bar just placed our order when we came in!!!!!
