Rhodes

I worked there for 7 month during the summer and let me tell you it is a really great place. The old town is one of the most beautiful I have visited yet.

It was pretty, and amazing swimming, but no place I’d go back to.

I went here when I was four. I got chicken pox and had a generally miserable time I seem to remember.

There is a lot of cool history in Rhodes. Many people have claimed it for themselves over the years. Just like any other touristy place, make sure you get outside the port/old city area to see the rest of the island

rent a car if not a boat :) and visit all the island especially Lipsos

I fell in love with Rodos, I hae been thee about 7 times but not for the last four years. I miss it s much it hurst to think about it sometimes. I always stayed in tholos in summer dreams appartmets (now taken over) George at the bar was great.
I madefriends with the people (Nick and lou) who owned Dundees the bar down the road. I loved that walk from the hotel to the bar, down this almost dirt track the wnd would blow right up it and on a very hot day thre would be lizards basking on the tarmac. I loved the smell and balmy feel of the place. In the evenings I would stand by the hotel outside bar and the wind would really blow (I was on the agean side) and I would be freezing.

This place is amazing and the people are so friendly! I would definetly recommend it to anyone! Went 2 months ago and still wish i was there! GO!!!!:Dx

Rhodes is beautiful but rather touristy place. If You prefer calm holiday You should go to other greece island.
I recomend aquapark :) I had a lot of fun when I was there. And cruise by ship is really good idea, because the views of small island ( like simi f.e. ) are wonderful

needed an extension on a visa for turkey so we ferried over to rhodos for the day, drank wine, ate nice food and lapped up the good looking people (after living in turkey – it was a pleasant dose of ‘normality’ or is that ‘westernality’ with a dash of ‘everything is so postcard picturesque’ !!!!!
