Dublin
Worth visiting!
best dublin view from a high
i’ve never taken the self guided tour; i get in for free since i work in the digital hub so sometimes i go for lunch with co-workers. i did visit the gravity bar, which is up on the 7th floor (i think?) and has an amazing view of dublin. you can see the jillions of cranes peppering the dublin skyline during the building burst happening now. not sure if it’s worth the entrance fee dough but i ain’t paid, so it’s definitely worth visiting from my perspective.

What was said below, really
In terms of the fact that the tour makes it somewhat expensive, but the view and the free pint at the end of the tour is frankly all that you need to make it worth it, if you are so inclined. The view is quite wonderful (I mentioned it elsewhere in my Guinness Brewery mention but I’ll say it again) and hey, the beer is great. Also, be on the lookout for the huge pint glass. The four story one. You’ll know what I mean when you’re actually in the Storehouse itself.

Untitled
This was, much to my surprise, one of the best things I did in Dublin. I was expecting it to be cheesy and, to be honest, I only went because I wanted to get out of the rain, but I was completely wrong. Apparently, when I was there (in 2001) they had recently completed a remodel of it. It wasn’t cheesy at all. It was interesting, informative, and ended with a great view of Dublin and a pint of Guinness. What could be better?

Free Guinness
Well, you have to pay for the tour, but you do manage to get a free pint of Guinness at the top floor at the Sky Bar, where you can look out upon the rest of Dublin. I highly recommend this tourist trap, even if it’s your only reason for visiting Dublin.
