Quite worth it. Make sure your car is in good shape, the oil changed, the battery, alternator, and tires in good condition. Have a spare, a jack, and the right size socket wrench, etc. ready. And a blanket. Enjoy your trip.

Definatly worth a visit. Little towns like Helen, Dahlonega and Cleveland dot the roads every few miles. Lots of good routes for riding a motorcycle too!

National and state parks, Dahlonega – the site of Georgia’s gold rush, the start (or end depending on your perspective) of the Appalachian trail, Tallulah falls, Great white water (think Deliverance!), etc etc etc.
