The first time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

I was twenty years old (31 years ago) when I first visited St Andrews. I immediately fell in love with this town and its people. I knew then as I do today that this was a place I wanted to return to over and over again. My dream come true was buying a home in St Andrews www.monarchshouse.com.

The Open is in Liverpool?  — 2 years ago

With the Open coming up, I actually feel a little disapponted that it is not in St Andrews, or even Scotland.

It is in Liverpool. No one goes to Liverpool for the golf!

Ferry ‘cross the Mersey, lads, The Open Championship is coming to town.

St Andrews Rocks!  — 2 years ago

    Worth visiting!

I live just a few miles away from St Andrews and go there for the day every chance I get. It’s quaint, quiet and rustic. The streets and shops can sometimes be busy, but they always stop short of crowded. The people are friendly. Pubs are a bit over priced, but that is to be expected with any tourist spot. The thing is, the over priced food and drink is really the only sign that the area is a tourist spot.
