Erawan National Park

We heard that Erawan is famous for its 7 levels of waterfall, so of course we decided to trek to the top. Unfortunately we only made it to the 5th level before closing time, and ended up pretty much covered in mud as the dirt track up there is wet, steep and slippery. We made the mistake of climbing in flip flops, finally realising that it was easier to climb barefoot! We cooled off in the pool at level 1, where we discovered that the fish love to nibble at unsuspecting tourists…some people pay a lot of money for ‘fish exfoliation’ treatments, but we got it for free!
