Presidio

Well there was a movie about it. I was taken there by my ex husband when he was still in the military. It was ok…I wasn’t something totally exciting that I must see again. But it was nice to see something new.

From the cliffs of the Golden Gate to the old landing strip of Crissy Field, the Presidio is a wonderful place to spend a day exploring.

Not only are there the main attractions, but there are quiet surprises tucked away here and there: a pet cemetary with touching tombstones, stark white military barracks, and many miles of wonderful hiking.
