If you go here you must stop at Thomas Sweet Ice cream and Hoagie Haven. Oh, and the University is really cool.

Cute place. Travelled there just for the Dar Williams show the other night. Wasn’t expecting the town itself to be so pretty: a nice surprise! :)

The Princeton Record Exchange is amazzzzzing. I would go again just to buy things from there.

It was a nice place, although I got a sense of it being a little stuck up. Great food, my first thanksgiving ever :D

From a walking tour of the Princeton U. campus, where you can rub against those high SAT-ers and priveleged students to the browsing through used cd’s at Princeton Record Exchange and occassional stops at the various coffee houses or pubs, a day in Princeton is worth a trip from Philly or NYC. I loved Princeton 12-15 years ago when it was bit more edgy. Now, it’s cleaned up to a Disney spic ‘n span. Folks, in general, are not too friendly. Must be all the big thoughts they’re thinking. Be ignorant when going around campus and just walk on in to buildings you find interesting. In most cases, you won’t be stopped or refused. You’ll get a better idea of the happenings. I’ve visited Yale, Harvard, Duke, UNC, Cornell and all the other top ten beautiful college campuses in the USA. Still find Princeton to be the most attractive.

I actually work for Princeton University full-time on campus. It is a beautiful campus and town. I work at the Credit union, and I love it. There are many little shops and restaurants on NASSAU ST. Hoagie haven is a must if you are ever in town.

I wouldn’t take a vacation to Princeton, but if I needed a place to go for an afternoon or an evening, it fits the bill. Check out Hoagie Haven, even if it isn’t as good as it was 2 years ago. Also get a fine cup of Joe at Small World Coffee on Witherspoon
