Christchurch aka: Ōtautahi

I had an utterly delightful time when I was in Christchurch This past January. I was lucky enough to catch the Buskers’ Festival, so there were amazing acts going on all over the city. It’s a delightful laid-back city, very walkable, with yummy cafes and a beautiful botanical garden. I’d happily live there if I could! definitely worth a visit.

I would love to go to Christchurch, NZ to meet my friend Wee….from pogo…..Maybe we could have some fun together during my visit.

christchurch is beautiful. it feels good to be there. read a book on the banks of the gently winding avon; wander hagley park; peek at the neat stores on manchester and high streets.

My sis is staying at this palace from the last 3 years.. i want to see her live the great kiwi dream.. so would love to be there for a while.
Mite as well settle, if i would get a good opp and chance… ;-)

I’ve been here four times and each time around 5 days. It is called “the Garden City”, some people say the buildings resemble the style in the UK but I’ve never been there so I don’t know. I stayed mostly in the city, went to the seaside once which was good. The cathedral looks good and the museum was awesome. But not many things to do. Overall a quiet and beautiful small city.
