Seriously. 11 months agoGo there Saturday nights by OmriFood was okay, I had some kind of pizza and you can’t really screw that up. Maybe the more dinner-y items are better, I dunno. What I really came back for is burlesque on Saturday nights. Pah-Ooh-La the Swedish Housewife, Miss Indigo Blue, Tamara the Trapeze Lady and a host of friends put on a very authentic throwback to the best days of the fallen art. The stage is so tiny that the crowd sits practically on the performers, with some bar seats being on eye level two feet away from the dancers. The audience usually has a few personal friends in it who set the tone in howling in appreciation and really help fill in the atmosphere. A few drinks, some good bump’n’grind and a woman in pasties flying overhead on a trapeze swing. What more do you need? over 6 years agoNot my favorite place, especially for eating by Josh PetersenThis place is great in terms of the roof deck and tieing one on in Post Alley on a sunny day, but if you are looking for good Italian food, I can’t recommend it. Last time I was here I had an overcooked dish of pasta, waitresses with an attitude, and a predatory attitude toward my table. For drinkers and sun bathers this is a fun place for antipasto or a salad, but discerning fans of Italian food would do better at Osteria La Spiga. over 6 years agoSee all 4294967295 entries |
