The place is not always the people
This is my numero uno European city. My husband and I adored visiting Paris 15 years ago, despite the unfriendly people. We stayed on the Rive’ Gauche in a modestly priced hotel on St. Germaine with french doors leading to a tiny porch offering spectacular views including the Pantheon. We walked everyhere then caught the Metro when our feet would not carry us further. We preferred smaller museums to the Louve; but to see Venus DeMilo, Diana, Whistler’s Mother, is a must! Food was wonderful and outrageously expensive; served by hauty, unhelpful waiters. Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower and so much more…

My Hometown
I love Paris, Texas because for one thing it’s my hometown. I loved it because unlike where I am now the people there are like super friendly, you can walk down the street and say “hi” to someone and they will smile and say hi right back. It’s small but I wouldn’t change the size of it at all. I have friends, family, and memories there. And like the songs says, “All my ex’s live in Texas”.

300 Ethiopians in Paris Texas
I went there for my good friend’s wedding a few months ago. It was fantastic. The town isn’t much to write home about, but, man, can those Ethiopians party!
