Write an entry Entries about this placeUVM by MangorifficI go to school up in Burlington. It’s the perfect combination of city life and the boondocks. I think a real city would have eaten me alive. But Burlington is small enough to be comfortable but large enough to guarantee some pretty good nightlife. Plus it has the Skinny Pancake- an unbelievable crepes restaurant down by the waterfront. If only it wasn’t cold for the majority of the year I would live there for a long long time in a heartbeat over 3 years agoHoneymoon locale by raised to be polite, not to suffer bullshitWe went here for our honeymoon and spent 10 days being the happiest newlyweds ever and falling madly in love with our beautiful future home. This is absolutely one of my all-time favorite places, and I just love how friendly everyone is. over 3 years agoback when i was a dirty dirty hippie by cooldice23i squatted in a tent near a bunch of concrete structures (that i think were) called the drunkyard. a couple of days in, the local fire department had live hose drills and flooded my little slice of forest. i still had fun. i saw a riot and went to a party held by kids who worked at magic hat. good music if you’re into indie folk / jam bands. over 5 years agoUntitled by obscenesentimentalI miss Burlington tremendously.
