    Worth visiting!

I visited this weekend as a result of my trip to the Mapparium, although I didn’t go inside. Turns out I had been there before, to pick up my bike from someone on Craigslist.

The reflecting pool is lovely and is set up in such a way that someone walking along the other side of the pool almost seems to be walking on water. It was rainy when I visited this weekend, but I had seen it before when it was sunny. People like to lounge out on the front lawn on sunny days – looks relaxing!

In the Back Bay, this is the location of the beautiful mother church built between 1894 and 1906 & made of NH granite. The reflecting pool is excellent to look at and you should go and see the Mapparium (http://www.marybakereddylibrary.org/exhibits/mapparium.jhtml) which is a 30 foot stained glass globe that you can walk through – very cool.
