I was there around October 13th 2008, and there is nothing much to do in Telluride at that time of year. It’s a beautiful place, worth seeing, and the drive through the mountains to get there is awesome (the road ends in Telluride, once you get up there you have to turn back to get out). But, again, there isn’t much to do as it’s primarily a ski town. Also, this is a town that was designed for walking as the roads are very narrow.

Spent my Freshman year at the Telluride High School. Most everyone I know has worked there. I know this town inside and out.

We nearly got snowed in when we visited 6 years ago. This town is magical and beautiful. I highly recommend a visit any time of the year.

If there’s one place that you must see, it’s Telluride. It is an amazing place to see and make yourself a part of. Bring a camera, take lots of pictures. If you are eating out, I suggest the Sheridan. It’s a favorite. Also, the gondola ride to Mountain Village is wonderful. Make sure you go at night too, it has a different feel at night.

Loved the skiing – loved the location – loved the village. Best place I have been to in the US… but then we did have great snow!
