Durango

Durango is quite possibly the MOST BEAUTIFUL place in the United States. Everyone in the town is wonderful and willing to help you if you are lost, there are plenty of activities to do (hiking, fishing, horseback riding)... definitely for the outdoors-type person!
I HIGHLY recommend it, I actually plan on living there

I mainly remember that it was so very pretty and that there is an awesome Melodrama Theater there. And the train ride to Silverton!

I am a recent graduate from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. I lived here for 5 years. I loved it. The mountains, outdoors, greeness! Awww I miss it already…good times;)

good times good friends lots of navajo people goto school here for the free tuition… a very pretty place to visit too.

It is so cool! I was probably no more than 5 the last time I was there but I remember the train ride as if it were yesterday and the waterfalls. I also remember being carted around on the shoulders of my cousins husband. It was so much fun, especially to a little kid.

I moved here over two years ago, thinking I would only stay a couple of months! I’m still here and loving it, it’s a wonderful place to live.

I loved 4-wheeling in the area. We used to go up every summer in and around this area. Such a beautiful, quaint place. A bit on the liberal side, but who cares? It’s great to visit and enjoy the outdoor life.
