Shibuya

The leader of my trip to Japan warned us months ahead of time that Times Square would be ruined for us forever by visiting Shibuya. He was absolutely right. I went to Times Square a good five years later and it was, as he had promised, merely cute in comparison. I can still hear the ads for a Misia album blaring on the giant screens perfectly in my memory.

A receptionist in 109 is great,they are always thinking what kind of wear or pants will be the best,and the display in theire shops are always changing not only every day,every our.every shop doesnt have same display every our.and they are always looking the visitor.ex when there are many high school students come to the 109,receptionist will change the display,and next time if many woman office workers come to 109 they must change the display for their tastes.and so 109 is always the highest of prosperity in Japan.

It is the most exciting place I have ever been. It’s so busy your head will spin. I recommend going there if you’re in Tokyo but don’t spend too much time near the crossing if you have panic attacks easily. It’s far too easy to get caught up in it all!

Shibuya became a little bit of a haunt for the group of us that stayed in Tokyo earlier this year – good arcades and shopping to be had!

Totally recommend going to the Lock-up – it’s awesome!

Coolest. Place. Ever.

Shibuya is my favourite district in Tokyo because the signs are the brightest and Shibuya looks so new. There are many signs for the multiple floors occupied. There are tons of department stores. There are arcades scattered about, and lots of different shops on the smaller streets – electronics, pharmacy, make up, perfume, restaurants. The streets are busy, but there is room to walk. The entrance to Shibuya station is grand. There are many video screens; one played a music video. Shibuya was so big I didn’t see it all, so don’t combine Aoyama and Harajuku with Shibuya in one day (the way I did). Seibu and Parco are everywhere, so skip it.
