A review of this place: Matsumoto Castle in Autumn
Very nice Japanese style castle… was beautiful in Autumn but I imagine it to be nice in any season. You can go inside for a small fee but you will have to take your shoes off, and if it’s chilly outside, the floor will be freezing. My feet went numb… should have brought slippers. Really cool at the top, although not so good for those with limited physical ability… the stairs are VERY steep (but waaaay fun).
