We were traveling from California (drove from Spokane, Wa to Missoula) to pick up a friend and didn’t intend to stay but we absolutely loved it! It was early June and we arrived in the evening. The locals were wonderful and referred us to a great pizza place where we went next door to get beer that we could bring back inside. We walked around downtown a bit (it was chilly!) and met some local students who had graduated but didn’t want to leave. The next day we went to some downtown farmer’s markets and ate at a FABULOUS brewery where we sat outside on the second story. For you Californians…Missoula reminded me so much of San Luis Obispo but in the mountains. We will definitely return! over 4 years agoUntitled by AnneAmandaMissoula is a really great town. My mother and sister live there. It has all kinds of the most lovely shops and restaurants. Marvelous. Plus they have one of the top bagpipe bands in the country. over 4 years agomissoula by HotPunkFairyi grew up here, being their is almost no gan activity and it is very quiet and not as hectic to leave. my 15 mile commmute takes 20 min. i love that over 4 years agoSee all 27 entries |
