Write an entry Entries about this placeHad a great time during off-season by MissIvyI hate fighting crowds and loved visiting the Outer Banks during the off season. Everyone is very friendly, as long as you don’t have to use the bathroom. There are temp toilets (port-a-pots) scattered over the area, though, for desperate times :) Also, everything closes when the sun goes down, at least during the off season when I visited. My boyfriend and I had a blast just wandering around. over 3 years agoNice place by informavoreThis is a really nice place, but it can get pretty pricey so don’t come if you’re on a budget. Luckily for me, I have some family who live here. Some of the notable things to see here are the Jockey Ridge dunes, the Wright Brothers museum, the Lost Colony, Cape Hatteras, and Ocracoke island.
