I love this place. Until a few months ago I lived one block away from the Zurenborg neighbourhood. My favourite restaurant is on the Dageraadplein, it was nice to be able to just walk over whenever I felt like it, not having to worry about parking space (hard to find there!) and on how many glasses of wine I could drink. There are many beautiful houses here, and there’s a general feeling of being in a ‘village’ instead of in a city. A lot of artsy people hang out here too (they can come across a bit aloof), and not too many tourists excluding the couple of Dutch people you find everywhere in Antwerp. One of the saddest things of moving was being farther away from Zurenborg. Perhaps one day I’ll live here, untill then I’ll certainly keep returning.
