Huge by Ninja Neko
My first visit here was on an elementary school trip, I don’t remember much of it.
Years later I moved to Antwerp and my boyfriend at the time worked in the harbor. He took me for a few drives there, I’m glad I didn’t go on my own since I’d surely get lost – the place is huge (2nd largest port in Europe after Rotterdam). It’s a bit awe-inspiring, all the ugly containers, docks, locks, buildings, cranes and pipes make up a picture that’s beautiful in its own way. And its great to just sit on the docks and see enormous seaships pass by. It wasn’t that good for fishing though (at least the boyfriend never cought anything there :) )
I believe they still have guided tours now.
