The Neoclassical Stadsfeestzaal (=”City Celebration Hall”) was destroyed in a fire in 2000, but has been reconstructed in all its glory to serve as a shopping centre. The shops are ok (the only COS and Urban Outfitters in Belgium. There are better places in Antwerp to shop though) but you must go and see the interior! There’s also a floating champagne bar for those who wish to indulge.
